My passion to be a Chelmsford family photographer first blossomed when my children were growing up. I loved to capture photographs of their play at the parks and woodland around our home town of Chelmsford. Now a decade later I specialise as a Chelmsford photographer offering my passion for photography to local families.

My shoots happen outside in the glorious fresh air. When I’m working with families, I find that being outside just helps everybody feel looser, more relaxed and happier. It’s lovely to have a portrait session that both encourages them to run free, and helps to build a strong foundation of confidence that will serve them well in the years to come.

This is why outdoor shoots are perfect for families. There’s no pressure to capture to certain poses. Allowing them to be themselves and I’ll capture the candid images whilst they play. Taking time and having patience during outdoor sessions means children’s personalities will shine through. I love to sit back a watch as well as the bond between families sparkle.

What to expect from an outdoor shoot with a Chelmsford family photographer

Before every shoot I will visit the planned location to look for great spots to visit with you. However on the day we will take time out to allow your children to wonder and explore. I take pride in each shoot being bespoke to the the family. Being an outdoor photographer I love the curve balls that each and every shoot can send my way. Every shoot becomes very unique, just like the families I work with.

Through out the surrounding areas of Chelmsford there are many beautiful parks and woods. Each offering beautiful back drops for a photo shoot perfect for a Chelmsford family photographer.
